Welcome to the official website for the Tommy Padilla Memorial Basketball Tournament. The tournament was started in 1999, as a way to help Alamogordo High School graduates and at the same time keeping Tommy's name alive. Proceeds from the tournament go towards scholarships for AHS students who wish to continue their education. Since 1999, the Tommy Padilla Scholarship Fund has raised enough money to award $48,000 in scholarships. This year's tournament will be held on March 28th - 30th at the Alamogordo High School Gyms. The atmosphere for this tournament is family oriented. Numerous activities are available for children as well as a full concession stand. If you cannot participate in the tournament on the court, we ask that you stop in and see first hand the support the tournament generates. From school administration, sponsors, volunteers, coaches, players and fans, everyone makes this tournament a success! The Padilla family thanks everyone that is involved in making this tournament what it is today. |
