| Tournament History |
In the tournaments first year, 9 teams participated in an open and 35 and older bracket. The level of competition and quality of players in both brackets is as good as any tournament. The TPMBT has attracted teams from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Mexico. |
| The Austin Knights (Austin, TX) have been one of the most consistent teams in the tournament winning the Open championship 4 out of 8 years. The other championship teams hailed from Albuquerque and El Paso, respectively. In the over 35 division, the team from Holloman AFB has been the most dominant. However, the quality of players and teams strengthen every year. Out of all 28 teams that participated in 2007, everyone was very competitive. |
| In 2008, the tournament will be as competitive as ever. Familiar teams will participate as well as new and hungry ones eager for the title! Please come out and enjoy quality basketball within a family atmosphere. |
